Tiffany & Justin's Islander Wedding

“I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.”
— Roy Croft

I would like to start off by saying how happy I am that Tiffany & Justin chose me to capture their day. The lighting and weather was perfect all day, and we couldn't have asked for a better location than the always nice Islander Motel in Emerald Isle, NC. Tiffany & Justin, along with their friends and family, came all the way from San Fransisco, California (and some Seattle) to get married here. I even heard one of the family members flew in from England. They chose this spot out of the thousands and thousands of other locations all over the country. That should show just how special our little beach here is in Emerald Isle. I love being a wedding photographer here as it is simply amazing. We get to meet so many couples from all over the country and become friends with them. This is not the first time we have done a wedding for a couple out of state, and it surely will not be the last.

Tiffany and Justin are a very laid back couple, and were very sweet together. You can definitely see the love they have for each other through all of the great moments below. We love when we can hang back and just capture spontaneous, and intimate moments as they happen. This is our favorite way to photograph so we can capture real, raw emotion throughout the day. These are the photos the couples look back on and can really relive the moments throughout the day. We let Tiffany and Justin just be themselves, while giving just a little bit of direction here and there, and the photos turned out amazing! I hope you enjoy!

Tiffany and Justin chose to do a "first look" to see each other before the ceremony.

Tiffany & Justin had a fantastic ceremony with lots of laughs and giggles.

The toasts from their family and friends were really special and the light coming from behind the tent made for a few really unique photos during this time. Their first dance was quick and fun, followed by the Father/Daughter dance and the Mother/Son dance. As you can see, they were a fun crowd!

The lighting and sunset was quite the treat on their wedding day. It made capturing their love that much easier.

Their reception was a lot of fun with the live band Shine. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away!
