Kelly & Trey's Boathouse Wedding

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." - Lao Tzu

Kelly and Trey and were married on June 27th at the Boathouse at Front Street Village. They are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with. The day started out with the ladies getting ready at the Inlet Inn on Front Street in Beaufort. Meanwhile, the guys got ready at the Boathouse in the office. The weather was not terribly kind to us for photos, however the storm shifted just long enough for us to get the ceremony in on time. We weren't able to get too many portraits in between storms due to the weather and extreme wind. I have never experienced wind quite like that on a wedding day, but we made it work when we could and walked away with some excellent photos. There were a lot of great moments throughout the day, so it was hard to just pick a few photos to share. Here are some of my favorites!

Although there wasn't much sun to be had, it was not raining. Trey's reaction to seeing Kelly for the first time was priceless!

The reception was held on the deck of the Boathouse and their nautical themed wedding tied everything together nicely.

We were in a fight against light, time, and extreme weather. We ran to several locations to grab a few portraits while we could. The wind made it difficult, but with the right timing and technique, we were able to achieve some lovely portraits.

Kelly and Trey's reception was short, but a lot of fun as you can see! They capped the night off with a traditional sparkler exit.

I can't say enough good things about this couple, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of their wedding. Congrats to Kelly and Trey!
