Epic Raleigh, NC Engagement session : Rachel & Sagar

We love when our couples trust us to pick the locations, capture their photos our own way, and get them having fun and feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Rachel & Sagar had only one request, to head to the parking garage near Sagar's work and capture the Raleigh skyline in the background of one of the photos. That, of course, sparked many ideas for us throughout our journey of locations; starting with Neuse River Trail Park. We had never been to Neuse River Trail Park, but had seen other photos and knew it would be a great place to begin and capture some awesome moments between Rachel and Sagar.

After we left the park, we headed to downtown Raleigh to capture the skyline. Right down the street from the parking lot was an epic graffiti wall we knew we had to incorporate. The direction the characters' in the graffiti were looking, we wanted the couple to fit in with the frame of the character's expressions. As Rachel & Sagar walked past, everything came together perfectly for one of my personal favorite images we have taken! 

Raleigh, NC is an amazing city and is full of diverse spots for photos, good food, and plenty of things to do. Not many people think of a parking garage as a great place for engagement photos, but we had some ideas as soon as we saw the architecture that turned out perfectly. As an added bonus, the parking garage had an epic view of the beautiful sunset and a birds eye view of the Raleigh, NC skyline. We actually ended up getting kicked out of the parking deck by a pesky security guard, because, of course, we didn't know we weren't supposed to be there (I promise, we didn't!) We moved downstairs and utilized some of the unique architecture to end the night before we caused any more trouble or took anymore amazingly awesome photos to outdo ourselves.
