Sadie and Jonathan were happily married aboard their USS North Carolina Battleship Wilmington, NC. Writing this blog was very hard! We knew we had to make it good and long... "THATS WHAT SHE SAID!" (The Office) Little know fact, Chad and I are HUGE office fans and we'll get to the reason for this lewd quote now...

Sadie & Jonathan work in the movie business, so their wedding day was full of amazing TV show and movie themed decor. These two incredible people were married on the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington, NC and the reception was held at the Goat and Compass downtown. This was anything but a traditional wedding and we loved it! The decor around the reception held scenes of Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, Nintendo 64, The Office, and Jurassic Park! There were Star Wars table runners, movie posters, and a fantastic escort into the reception by storm troopers and Kylo Ren. 

The force was strong on this day! Sadie and Jonathan wore impeccably nostalgic attire to kick start their one of a kind wedding. For Sadie and Jonathan this wedding was a do or do not, there is no try type wedding! Our photography adventure with Sadie and Jonathan actually began at their rehearsal. Chad and I were met with incredibly warm welcomes from all! Right away we knew how fun and memorable this day would be.

We began the day with a drive-by shooting happening right near the Air BnB rental where Sadie was getting ready. This was definitely a first and quite a scary situation. However, Sadie & Jonathan did not let it ruin the start of their day. These two shared an incredibly sweet first look together after they were ready. The ceremony began on the stern of the USS North Carolina and it was full of surprises, tears, laughs, and sweet puppy kisses! The fun didn't stop there! The reception was full of good friends, good times, great lights, and great dancing. The reception was a fan-freaking-tastic finish to a great day with amazing people! "Wise men say forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza." - Ninja Turtles
