New Years Eve Wedding at Copper Ridge | Shelby & Kowshon

Shelby and Kowshon had a heartwarming wedding at  Copper Ridge on the Neuse in New Bern, NC. It’s a good thing these two brought such warmth to their day, because it was a cold one! Shelby is a fellow teacher who is a rockstar of a person! Kowshon is a fellow photographer for the Marines. Their day was full of treasured moments and it was an absolute honor to photograph their wedding! From heaters in tents, to an incredible inside ceremony, and of course all the fun moments in between, this wedding was sensational! 

We love photographing Copper Ridge on the Neuse weddings! There are so many unique spots at this venue. From a glorious hill, a bamboo lined walkway, and the always gorgeous Neuse River, we are always very happy photographers to be here.! We have never photographed an inside ceremony at Copper Ridge. I’d just like to say, it did not disappoint! The Eddison bulbs hung by Shelby’s mother paired with the lanterns that were placed along the aisle, gave the inside a perfect, romantic, glow!

Did I mention this was a New Year’s wedding! With a collection of fun hats, noise makers, and a pre-mature countdown, this night was endless amounts of fun! *Disclaimer – no balls were harmed in the making of this awesome wedding* We ended our night at Copper Ridge in sparks and continued the fun to Prohibition, a great spot in downtown New Bern for good food and good drinks!
