So, you are probably planning a wedding in New Bern, NC, and stumbled upon this blog post. We are thrilled to have you here and hope this helps you with the tough decision of picking your perfect wedding venue in New Bern, NC. There are many amazing options as there are plenty of beautiful and breathtaking spots here on the Crystal Coast. Here are some of the ones we have had the pleasure of working with.

Copper Ridge on the Neuse

Copper Ridge is one of our favorites and it is easy to see why. It offers a variety of backdrops for your big day, but it’s selling points are the large barn style reception hall and the beautiful hilltop ceremony location overlooking the Neuse River. We photographed the very first wedding at Copper Ridge and have taken part in over 25 weddings at the venue, and the best part is every wedding has looked different in one or another. The Team at Copper Ridge knows what they are doing and can cater the venue to your liking. As a bonus, they have their own catering as well, and the food is simply always amazing at this New Bern Wedding Venue.

Neuse Breeze

Neuse Breeze isn’t technically in New Bern, it’s a little further down Highway 24 in the outskirts of Havelock, NC. However, it is worth the drive if you are looking for a quiet and quaint riverside wedding that is complete with its own private beach! The venue owners are fantastic to work with and even offer their own planner team and floral designs. They have a guest house specifically for getting ready and a covered patio for the reception. The dance floor is typically in front of the outdoor fireplace and always makes for a great time. They have plenty of unique features throughout the property that makes for great photos as well.

New Bern Golf & Country Club

There’s a common theme of water and greenery so far on our list, as that’s what we love to shoot! However, if you are looking for a ballroom-style reception AND beautiful water views… This is your venue! Nestled on the water, this clubhouse has the amenities you need such as a waterfront ceremony space, large reception rooms, and plenty of kitchen space for great food. Take a little walk down from the venue for some stunning views of the water, a walking bridge, a scenic driveway with overlapping trees, and a great view of the sunset. Golden hour & sunset here is always magical.

Tryon Palace

Who wouldn’t want to get married at a palace! Tryon Palace is full of rich history, beautiful gardens, amazing interiors, and a large enough space to host the largest of weddings in New Bern. There’s plenty of space to host a large wedding, or simply rent out the gardens for an engagement or bridal portrait session! My favorite spots for photos here are actually in the stables or inside under the massive staircase! Whatever the occasion, Tryon Palace is a beautiful New Bern, NC Wedding Venue.

Isaac Taylor Gardens

Quant views in the downtown area, Isaac Taylor Gardens is a beautiful and unique spot. The ironclad gate and historic house make for beautiful photographs, and the garden area is perfect for your smaller intimate weddings of 75 people or less. The venue is nestled on Craven Street and is close by to other fantastic photo spots!

Amelia Grove

We haven’t actually had a chance to photograph at Amelia Grove yet! We still had to mention it as one of the newest venues in the area, it is a beautiful home nestled on a great property with a view of the water and trees all around. If you are planning an Amelia Grove wedding, we would love to connect!
